Alternative Curriculum & Wellbeing Fishing Days for Schools
Who the Sessions Are For
Our school programmes are suitable for:

Pupils at risk of disengagement or exclusion

Learners with ALN / SEMH needs

Pupils experiencing anxiety, low confidence or attendance issues

Small nurture groups or wellbeing cohorts
-
PRUs, alternative provision settings and secondary schools
-
Upper primary pupils (age appropriate and risk assessed)
No previous fishing experience is required.

What the Day Includes
Each session is carefully planned and fully risk assessed, and may include:

Structured, instructor-led fishing activities
-
Clear routines and achievable goals to support engagement
-
Focus on emotional regulation, patience and confidence
-
Supportive adult guidance in a calm outdoor setting

All fishing equipment provided
-
Small group sizes to ensure safety and individual attention
Sessions can be delivered as one-off wellbeing days or as part of a short alternative curriculum programme.

£400 – £600 per day, depending on group size and duration
